2026 Topps Vault Marvel: The Sketches Have My Attention

2026 Topps Vault Marvel is one of those releases that caught my attention pretty quickly, mainly because of the sketch cards. Each hobby box only has two cards, and outside of the “Vault Originals” box toppers, everything is a hit. Autographs, relics, or original sketch cards. Feels similar to the OG Marvel Premier structure from our friends over at UpperDeck.

I know the autos are going to be a huge draw for alot of collectors, but autos have never really tickled my fancy. For me, its all about the sketches. There’s just something about pulling a one of a kind piece of original Marvel artwork that I find way more interesting then pulling an autograph. Every artist has their own style and take on the characters, and you really have no idea what your going to get until you see the card.

The relics are pretty interesting too, especially with Topps including pieces from Marvel movie props like Thor’s Stormbreaker and Cap’s shield. There’s even cards with diamonds in them, which really shows you the kind of high end product Topps is going for here – again it feels similar to other sets we’ve seen from UD (Black Diamond IIRC?)

I would absolutely love to open a box and have a shot at pulling one of those sketches myself, but at the $680 USD price point this is going to have to be a  casual spectator sport for me.

That doesnt mean I won’t be following the product though. I’m really looking forward to seeing what sketches start showing up, checking out the different artists and hopefully finding a few singles that I can actually afford to add to my modest collection. I might not be able to rip a box myself, but seeing all that original Marvel artwork come out is probably going to be the best part for me anyways – Go Go Gadget WhatNot!

2026 Topps Vault Marvel Premier Sketch Artist List

Since the sketches are easily the biggest draw for me with this set, I had to take a look at who’s actually doing the artwork. There’s a ton of artists on the Premier Sketch list, including quite a few names I recognize and some that are new to me.

I’m sure once these cards start showing up we’ll get a much better idea of what everyone created, but for now, here’s the artist list for the 2026 Topps Vault Marvel Premier Sketch cards (may not be a complete list, just what I was able to find on various sites – might update this later).
